September 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's general government sector saw a surplus of 28 million euro ($32.9 million) equivalent to 0.1% of the GDP in 2017, according to revised data released by the statistical office on Tuesday.
"The main reasons for the revisions are the data sources that were not yet available within the April release," the statistics office said in a statement.
In April, the statistical office reported a general government surplus of a slim 13 million euro in 2017.
General government revenues expanded 6.2% to 18.59 billion euro, while expenditures rose 1.5% to 18.56 billion euro, the revised figures show.
In 2016, the general government sector suffered a deficit of 781 million euro, equivalent to 1.9% of the gross domestic product (GDP).
Slovenia's government debt in 2017 stood at 74.1% of GDP, or 31.86 billion euro, which is 4.6 p.p. less than in 2016.
