February 21 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Solar S2022 plans to build a 10 MW solar power plant in Subotica, in the northern part of the country, for an undisclosed sum, local authorities reported.
The plant will have a maximum installed power on the panels of 12.87 MWp, that is, a maximum planned approved active output capacity of 9,999 KW, according to project documentation published on the Subotica municipality's website earlier this month. The photovoltaic solar panels will span 23 hectares.

According to the Serbian business registry, Alibunar-based Solar S2022 is wholly owned by private individual Milan Cvijetinovic. It was founded in March 2022 with a capital of 1,000 dinars ($9/8.50 euro).
Approached by SeeNews on Tuesday for information on the size of the planned investment, a representative of Subotica municipal government declined to comment. A SeeNews email to Solar S2022 went unanswered by the time this article was published.
