January 3 (SeeNews) - Serbian company Infoplan Arandjelovac plans to build a 62.5 MW solar park in Negotin, in the east of the country, for an undisclosed sum, local media reported.
The park will have 117,572 solar panels and will cover an area of 91.84 hectares, news provider Ekapija reported.
Approached by SeeNews on Tuesday for information on the size of the planned investment, a local authority official declined to comment. SeeNews calls to Infoplan went unanswered by the time this article was published.
According to the Serbian business registry, Marina Agatunovic holds 50.21% of Infoplan, Zivko Djordjevic owns 49.65%, and the remainder is in the hands of three individual investors.
The company was founded in December 2002 with a capital of 2.296 million dinars ($20,640/19,560 euro).
