March 4 (SeeNews) - Serbian blue-chip household appliances manufacturer Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] has repurchased 1,000 own shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, it said.
As of February 27, Alfa Plam held 2,283 own shares, or 1.45% of its capital, the company said in a bourse filing earlier this week.
In January, Alfa Plam said it plans to buy back a total of 15,733 own shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, representing up to 10% of its share capital, in order to prevent distortions in the securities market and damage to the company.
The company is one of ten members of the BELEX15 blue-chip index of the Belgrade bourse. It has a free-float factor (FFc) of 23.25%, which accounts for 3.46% of the total capitalisation of the index.
The company’s shares last traded on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on February 26 when they closed flat at 26,500 dinars ($247.8/225.5 euro).
