January 2 (SeeNews) - The Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE) has replaced four components of its Islamic stock index SASX-BBI, following a regular index review, it said.
The bourse added technical ceramic products maker Enker, mining company Rudnici Boksita Jajce, coal mining company RMU Banovici and iron casting company Livnica Visoko to the index, with effect as of January 3, it said in a statement on Friday.
Water utility BAGS Energotehnika, car trading company Hercegovina Auto, publishing company GIK Oko and construction company GP ZGP were dropped from the index.
The SASE BBI Islamic index, launched by the SASE and Bosna Bank International (BBI), is made up of shares of the top 25 companies on the bourse which work in line with the conditions from the Shariah methodology of BBI.
The SASE is one of two bourses operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is based in Banja Luka.
