September 8 (SeeNews) - Romanian water bottling and distribution company La Fantana said it invested 2 million euro ($1.98 million) in an automated bottling line at its plant located in the central county of Sibiu.
The investment will make the company's operations more efficient by doubling the bottling capacity of 8-litre containers and increasing the bottling capacity of 19-litre containers by 40%, La Fantana said in a press release on Wednesday.
The new production line is also faster and fully automated, thus simplifying the entire bottling process, the company added.
"The investment from Talmaciu is in line with La Fantana's commitment to sustainable operations. The new technology ensures a higher and more effective production volume, with the same energy consumption as before, and a safe and more comfortable working environment for employees," La Fantana CEO Cristian Amza said.
La Fantana Group booked a turnover of 48 million euro in 2021, compared to 44 million euro the year before.
La Fantana is a water supplier present on the Romanian and Serbian market. The company provides services for companies and residential clients.
