August 25 (SeeNews) - Romanian electronic products and accessories retailer Vitacom Electronics said on Wednesday that it has invested 6.7 million euro ($7.86 million) in a new logistics centre and office space.
The new space, which will also serve as the company's new headquarters building, is located in Apahida, Cluj county and has a total area of some 13,000 sq m, Vitacom Electronic said in a press release.
The company started using the new logistics space in June, while the new offices will be occupied early this autumn.
"Delivery speed has been significantly improved, and the optimization of the processes will lead to a much better cost-benefit result. Moreover, processing errors will be reduced and the system will be flexible and scalable," Vitacom Electronics executive administrative director Aviva Vita said.
Vitacom Electronics was established in 1991 and over time has developed two own brands as well as partnerships with global brands such as Nedis, Maxell, Goobay, FixpointProsKit, NGS, Trevi , Intellinet and G3Ferrari.
