August 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales edged down by 0.2% year-on-year in June, after growing by 7.6% in May, data from the country's statistical office, INS, showed on Monday.
Sales of capital goods industry decreased by an annual 3.5% in June, INS said in a press release.
Increases were registered in the energy industry - by 5.5%, in the consumer goods industry - by 2.9%, the consumer goods industry
long-term - by 1.5% and in the intermediate goods industry - by 0.1%.
During January-June, industrial sales were 6.2% higher on the year.
In 2018, Romania's industrial sales rose by an annual 11.8%.
