April 28 (SeeNews) - Romania's road infrastructure company CNAIR said on Thursday that a consortium led by local construction company Clean Prest Activ has won a tender for the construction of a bypass road at Sighisoara, Mures county with a price offer of 258 million lei ($55 million/52million euro).
The construction works are to be completed in 38 months, CNAIR said in a press release.
The bypass will have a length of 13 km and will include a railway passage and a 150 metre-long viaduct.
The winning consortium also comprises local firms Dancor Romconstruct and Proiect Construct, as well as Turkish civil engineering company Ilci Insaat.
Clean Prest Activ was established in 2008 and employed 600 at the end of 2021, according to data from the finance ministry. Dancor was founded in 1994 and employed 30 at the end of 2021, while Proiect Construct was established in Bihor county in 2008 and employed 30 at end-2021.
Construction holding Ilci Insaat was founded in 1986 and includes 15 companies, employing some 3,000, according to its website.
