October 19 (SeeNews) - Romanian startup Bob Concierge said it has attracted a 6 million euro ($6.95 million) financing from U.S. investment fund NCH Capital.
With this new round of financing, the company aims to scale up the business, in order to become the most important marketplace for residential services in Romania, it said in a press release.
The company aims to create a network of 5,000 devices in Romania and 50,000 devices in Europe in the coming years, it added.
Total investments in the Romanian startup have exceeded 11 million euro.
Currently, Bob Concierge operates a network of 64 vending machines in Bucharest, with 100 more to be installed. The company's devices also feature delivery compartments, in which couriers can drop off or pick up a package, and special dry cleaning compartments, in which users can leave their clothes.
Headquartered in New York, NCH Capital Inc. provides investment management services, offers financial planning, portfolio management and advisory services to clients worldwide.
