April 18 (SeeNews) - Prague-headquartered logistics facility developer P3 completed a 2,000 sq m accommodation project for its Bucharest A1 logistics park in response to the need for staff housing, the company said on Monday.
The accommodation development can house up to 252 people in over 63 furnished rooms, the company said in a press release.
Carrefour Romania’s logistics provider, ID Logistics, is one of the first tenants of the accommodation facility, it added.
Earlier in the year, P3 announced it had leased out over 113,500 sqm of logistics and office spaces in Romania in 2021, 80% of which were new long-term contracts.
P3 is an investor, manager and developer of European warehouse properties with more than 6.4 million square metres of assets across 11 countries. The company also manages a landbank of 1.6 million square metres for further development.
According to finance ministry data, P3’s subsidiary in Romania closed 2020 at break even on a turnover of 8.4 million Romanian lei ($1.84 million/1.7 million euro).
