SOFIA (Bulgaria), February 19 (SeeNews) – Office space rent rates in the capitals of Slovenia and Croatia slid down last year by 15% and 6.0%, respectively, to a monthly 11 euro ($15) per square meter (sq m) in Ljubljana and to 14.5 euro/sq m in Zagreb, commercial real estate brokers and consultants Cushman&Wakefield said in a recent global office space report.
In the capitals of Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Macedonia, office rents stayed flat last year, Cushman&Wakefield said.
Ankara’s office rents stayed flat at an annual $276 per sq m last year. In Sofia and Bucharest, monthly office rents stayed flat at 12.5 euro/sq m and 19 euro/sq m, respectively.
In the capitals of Macedonia and Serbia, office rents per square meter per month stayed unchanged last year at 13.5 and 15 euro, respectively.
Turkey ranked 19 - the highest in Southeast Europe, in terms of most expensive global office location, as occupancy cost per square meter per year in Ankara amounted to 572 euro last year. The ranking includes a total of 67 locations.
