April 4 (SeeNews) - The prices of dwellings in Croatia increased on average by 11.9% on the year in 2023, the statistical office said on Thursday.
The prices of new dwellings rose by 9.0% and prices of existing dwellings increased 12.4% last year compared to 2022, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said in a quarterly report.
On an annual level, prices of dwellings rose by 11.7% on average in the capital Zagreb, 11.3% on the Adriatic coast and 16.3% in Croatia's other regions in 2023.
In the fourth quarter of 2023 alone, prices of dwellings increased 9.5% on the year and 3.4% compared to the third quarter of 2023.
Prices of dwellings in Croatia increased 14.8% in 2022 compared to 2021.
