April 17 (SeeNews) - Oil and gas group NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 3,535 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 2.6 million dinars.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went down 0.08% to 740.59 points on Tuesday. The index rose 0.24% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, added 0.15% on Tuesday and closed at 1,560.01 points, after increasing 0.37% on Monday.
Industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS] paced the blue-chip decliners list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as it lost 4.99% and closed at 11,686 dinars.
Civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] led the blue-chip gainers' list, gaining 9.92% to 776 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse increased to 706.6 million dinars ($7.4 million/6.0 million euro) on Tuesday from 204.3 million dinars on Monday as 369 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 1.8 million dinars.
