October 27 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia-based fuel retailer Makpetrol [MSE:MPT] reported on Thursday a net profit of 950.3 million denars ($15.5 million/15.5 million euro) for the first nine months of 2022, compared with a profit of 1.2 billion denars booked in the like period of last year.
Total operating revenues amounted to 27.7 billion denars in the period under review, up 72% year-on-year, the company said in an interim financial statement filed with the stock exchange in Skopje.
Domestic sales totalled 25.9 billion denars, up from 14.7 billion denars in the like period a year earlier, while sales abroad surged to 1.7 billion denars, from 498.1 million denars.
Makpetrol's operating expenses increased by 80% to 26.8 billion denars.
Makpetrol has a network of over a hundred filling stations across North Macedonia. The company also has units in neighbouring Serbia and Greece.
The company's shares last traded on the Skopje bourse on Wednesday, at an average price of 69,999 denars.
