July 19 (SeeNews) - North Macedonian soft drinks producer Fruktal Mak [MSE:KONZ] said it closed the first half of 2022 with a net profit of 41.6 million denars ($686,000/671,000 euro), more than double compared to a 16.8 million denars net profit booked in the same period a year earlier.
The company's operating revenue rose by 17% on the year to 271.9 million denars in the January-June period, Fruktal Mak said in an interim financial statement filed with the Skopje bourse on Monday.
Domestic sales increased by 9% on the year to 122.4 million denars in the first half of 2022, whereas sales abroad were up 23% year-on-year, reaching 144.5 million denars.
Operating expenses increased by 12% year-on-year to 225 million denars in the first six months of 2022.
Fruktal's shares have not traded on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) in the past year.
