PODGORICA (Montenegro), October 9 (SeeNews) – Montenegro's power grid operator CEDIS has called a tender for the supply, installation and commissioning of an integrated smart metering IT system, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said on Tuesday.
Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) invites companies to apply for prequalification in the tender for one single contract, to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the bank, the EBRD said in a statement.
The deadline for the submission of prequalification documents is November 9.
The IT system will initially manage data and processes related to 500,000 electricity metering points, but it must be scalable for up to one million metering points, the bank noted.
