PODGORICA (Montenegro), September 26 (SeeNews) – Montenegro’s total power consumption in August rose by 1.3% on the year to 265.3 GWh, the country's power grid operator Crnogorski elektrodistributivni sistem (CEDIS) said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the country's total power consumption grew by 8% in August, CEDIS said in a statement on Wednesday.
Region 2, comprising the municipalities of Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Cetinje, accounted for the largest share, 33%, of total power consumption in June, CEDIS said.
Household electricity consumption in Montenegro rose 1.6% year-on-year to 125.7 million kWh in August, according to figures posted on the website of the country's power utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
On a monthly comparison basis, household electricity consumption in Montenegro grew by 10.3% in August, figures showed.
