December 28 (SeeNews) - Moldova's central bank, BNM, has decided to keep its repo rate unchanged at 4.5%, the bank said.
BNM also kept its annual interest rates on overnight loans and deposits at 7.5% and 1.5%, respectively, the bank said in a statement on Thursday.
The central bank maintained the minimum reserve requirements on leu- and foreign currency-denominated liabilities of Moldovan commercial banks at 14%.
BNM last changed the repo rate in February, cutting it to 4.5% from 6.5%.
The central bank board will hold its next monetary policy meeting on January 31.
