February 3 (SeeNews) - Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers' list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 6,840 Metalac shares changed hands in turnover of 14.3 million dinars. Metalac closed up 5.81% at 2,096 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.71% at 813.98 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 1.51% at 1,759.28.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 1.044 billion dinars ($9.8 million/8.9 million euro) on Monday, up from 13.2 million dinars on Friday, as 81 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 100,500 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 603.2 million dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday.
