December 6 (SeeNews) - Cookware maker Metalac [BEL:MTLC] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
A total of 6,141 Metalac shares changed hands in turnover of 12.3 million dinars. Metalac shares closed flat at 2,000 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.29% at 777.60 points.
No blue-chip index members closed the session up on Friday.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.03% at 1,694.83.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 15.3 million dinars ($144,000/130,000 euro) on Friday, up from Thursday's 7.2 million dinars, as 72 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 732,480 dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the stock exchange on Friday.
In the period between December 2 and 6, BELEX15 grew by 0.87% and BELEXline rose by 1.52%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market in the period between December 2 and 6 was 490.1 million dinars, versus 26.246 billion dinars in the previous week.
Treasury bonds with a total value of 403.9 million dinars changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange this week versus 469.1 million dinars last week.
