March 15 (SeeNews) - Macedonian food company Vitaminka [MSE:VITA] said on Thursday its shareholders have approved the acquisition of a plot of land from local lender Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] for 7.3 million euro ($9 million).
The plot of land located in the city of Stip has an area of 21,592 sq m, the company said in a bourse filing.
Vitaminka said in a separate statement that its shareholders have approved the signing of a 7.3 million euro long-term loan deal with two Macedonian banks, Komercijalna and ProCredit Bank Skopje. The company also said its shareholders approved a 3 million euro revolving loan deal with NLB Banka.
In February, Komercijalna Banka said it plans to sell an office complex to Vitaminka for 7.3 million euro.
Vitaminka specialises in production of chocolate confectionery and crisp snacks. The company exports over 45% of its output primarily to Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Kosovo, Australia, and the U.S.
