August 14 (SeeNews) - Macedonia’s NLB Tutunska Banka [MSE:TNB] said on Thursday its net profit increased to 353.2 million denars ($7.6 million/5.7 million euro) in the first half of 2014 from 291 million denars a year earlier.
First-half net interest income climbed 15% on the year to 998.2 million denars, while net fee and commission income rose 4.5% to 446.4 million denars, the bank said in a statement sent to the Macedonian Stock Exchange.
NLB Tutunska Banka is part of Slovenia's NLB Group.
Sixteen banks operate in Macedonia, a country of 2.0 million.
