September 11 (SeeNews) - The main indices of the Macedonian Stock Exchange JSC (MSE) went up this week in holiday-thinned trade, bourse data showed on Friday.
The Skopje bourse was closed on Tuesday due to the celebration of Independence Day, a public and market holiday in Macedonia.
The MBI-10 index, which tracks the 10 blue-chip companies on the MSE, closed at 2,744.63 points, 5.08% up from last Friday. The MBID index, which comprises the 10 most liquid public companies, added 5.03% from last Friday to 2,530.11.
The MSE's total turnover fell to 49.91 million denars ($1.18 million/806,791 euro) in this week's four trading sessions from 70.49 million denars last week. Turnover on the bourse's official floor dropped to 38.99 million denars from 55.87 million denars last week. Turnover on the unofficial floor fell to 10.92 million denars from 14.72 million denars a week earlier.
Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje was the most traded company this week, with a total turnover of 5.82 million denars.

The MSE bond index, OMB, edged down by 0.03% to 105.26 points this week.
