SKOPJE (Macedonia), September 26 (SeeNews) – Macedonian cement maker Usje [MSE:USJE] said on Friday it will distribute as an interim dividend for 2014 a total of 2.3 billion denars ($48 million/37 million euro) from retained earnings
The pay out corresponds to a net dividend of 4,094 denars per share, to be distributed by the end of the year, Usje said in a filing with the Macedonian Stock Exchange, after the company’s shareholders approved the decision. The company's undistributed earnings totalled 2.56 billion denars.
Usje paid a net dividend of 829.5 denars per share for 2013.
The company's consolidated net profit for the first half of 2014 came in at 789.2 million denars, up 28% on the year.
Usje is owned by Greek building materials manufacturer Titan (www.titan.gr).
