March 10 (SeeNews) - The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed up on Friday, as trading turnover increased, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,195.89 points, up 0.58%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, grew 0.58%, to 1,511.95 points, LJSE data showed.
Drug maker Krka [LJE:KRKG] gained the most among the blue chips, as its shares closed at 106.0 euro, up 1.92% from the previous trading session. Energy group Petrol [LJE:PETG] was another major gainer, as its shares closed up 1.34% to 22.70 euro.
Lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB) [LJE:NLBR] was the most traded company on the bourse on Friday, generating a turnover of 680,137 euro ($717,088). Its shares rose 0.27% to 73.20 euro.
Total daily regulated market turnover grew to 1.7 million euro on Friday from 1.35 million euro on Thursday.
