March 26 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's foreign affairs ministry said that it has awarded a 2.7 million levs ($1.5 million/1.4 million euro) contract for upgrading the security of Bulgaria's Visa Information System to local IT company Lirex BG.
Four companies submitted offers in the tender for the contract, the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The equipment needs to be delivered within two months of receiving notification from the ministry that financing for the contract has been secured. Installation of the equipment should be carried out within one month of delivery.
