October 18 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 4,111 Komercijalna Banka shares changed hands in turnover of 13.5 million dinars. Komercijalna shares closed flat at 3,280 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session 0.10% higher at 748.57 points.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as its share price grew 0.44% to 683 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, grew 0.10% to 1,607.21.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 34 million dinars ($322,100/289,100 euro) on Friday, down from Thursday's 53.3 million dinars, as 189 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the exchange generated a turnover of 10.7 million dinars.
No Treasury bonds changed hands on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday.
In the period between October 14 and 18, BELEX15 fell by 0.05% and BELEXline declined by 0.03%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market in the period between October 14 and 18 was 494 million dinars, versus 463.7 million dinars in the previous week.
Treasury bonds worth 230.7 million dinars changed hands on the bourse this week, versus 295.1 million dinars last week.
