May 29 (SeeNews) - Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] generated the highest share turnover on the Belgrade stock market on Monday, as stock indices ended mixed, bourse data showed.
Komercijalna banka generated a share turnover of 3.6 million dinars on Monday, as 2,000 of its shares changed hands in a single transaction. The lender won 0.55% and closed at 1,815 dinars.
Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] was the most traded company on the stock market. A total of 2,122 of the shares in the company changed hands in 56 transactions, generating a turnover of 1.56 million dinars. The company lost 0.14% and closed at 735 dinars.
Construction company Jedinstvo led the blue-chip gainers list, after adding 1.03% to 5,000 dinars. The company generated a turnover of 424,990 dinars, as 85 of its shares changed hands.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, edged down 0.03% to 717.64 points on Monday. On Friday, the index lost 2.53% to 717.82.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, gained 0.18% on Monday and closed at 1,559.08. The index won 0.12% to 1,556.26 on Friday.
Civil engineering company Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] paced the blue-chip decliners on Friday, after losing 0.71% to 1,916 dinars. A total of 1,916 of the company's shares changed hands in nine transactions, generating a turnover of 2.7 million dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse fell to 12.5 million dinars ($113,829/101,839 euro) on Monday from 40.5 million dinars on Friday, as 129 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 880,400 dinars.
