May 5 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rebounded on Thursday on gains in consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR], bourse data showed.
The 23-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, finished at 2,130.21 points, up 0.79%, reversing a downward trajectory followed in the last three trading sessions.
The narrower CROBEX10 which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.69% to end at 1,268.92 points.
Atlantic Grupa was the most traded share with a turnover of 1.5 million kuna ($210,000/199,000 euro). Its share price surged 3.14% to end at 1,640 kuna after the company announced on Thursday that it will propose to its shareholders to distribute a dividend of 50 kuna ($7.0/6.6 euro) per share this year, up from last year's payout of 40 kuna.
Second by turnover ranked lender Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB] with a turnover of 923,500 kuna. Its price rose 1.09% to finish at 930 kuna.
Shares of shipping company Tankerska Plovidba Next Generation [ZSE:TPNG] appreciated 5.31% to finish at 51.60 kuna in a turnover of 863,000 kuna.
The ZSE's total trading turnover rose to 13.4 million kuna from 12.3 million kuna on Wednesday.
