May 14 (SeeNews) - The exports of FCA Srbija, a joint venture of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Group and the Serbian government, fell by 20.6% on the year in the first four months of 2018 to 303.3 million euro ($363.4 million), according to finance ministry data.
Despite the decline, FCA Srbija was Serbia's biggest exporter in January-April 2018, followed by HBIS Group Serbia, the Serbian unit of Chinese steelmaker HBIS, which exported goods worth 263.8 million euro, up 44% year-on-year, figures show.

Rubber and chemical products manufacturer Tigar [BEL:TIGR] was Serbia's third biggest exporter in the period under review, with sales abroad up 12.9% to 135.4 million euro.
The total exports of Serbia's 15 biggest exporters rose by 7.1% year-on-year in the first four months of 2018, reaching 1.5 million euro.
Serbia's trade deficit increased by 23.4% to $4.954 billion in 2017, the country's statistical office said earlier. The country's exports rose 14.2% on the year to $16.992 billion, while imports grew by 16.1% to $21.947 billion.
