SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 26 (SeeNews) – Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] rose the most among blue chips on the Sofia bourse for a second consecutive trading session, bourse data showed.
Eurohold Bulgaria closed 4.45% higher at 1.22 levs ($0.70/0.62 euro) in a trading volume of 171,125 shares on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday. On Friday, Eurohold Bulgaria shares closed 6.28% higher.
Resort operator Albena [BUL:6AB] led the blue-chip decliners on Monday, closing 1.25% lower at 63.4 levs.
Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue-chip company on Monday, as 191,426 of the company shares changed hands at an average price of 1.787 levs.
Total trading turnover on the Sofia bourse rose to 1.7 million levs on Monday, compared to 1.1 million levs on Friday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.55% to 691.48 points, after adding 0.60% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, increased 0.41% to 132.43 points, after closing 0.25% higher on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, added 0.66% to 111.66 points on Monday. On Friday, the index fell by 0.23%.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose by 0.24% to 524.96 points, after rising by 0.18% on Friday.
