March 22 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) hit fresh record highs on Friday on gains in Ericsson Nikola Tesla [ZSE:ERNT], bourse data showed.
The 21-share benchmark CROBEX increased 0.43% to finish at 2,846.94 points, its highest level in at least five years.
The narrower equity index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, added 0.32% to close at an all-time high, 1,729.06 points.
ICT solutions producer Ericsson Nikola Tesla was the most traded company with a turnover of 376,000 euro ($406,300). It was also the biggest daily gainer among the blue chips as its shares soared 7.81% to 214 euro on the news that the company’s management has decided to propose to pay a dividend of 15 euro per share this year.
Another index heavyweight, preferred shares of diversified holding company Adris [ZSE:ADRS2], lost 0.98% to 60.60 euro in a turnover of 328,000 euro.
Shares of electrical concern Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] rose 0.75% to 270 euro in a turnover of 148,400 euro.
The total on-exchange turnover reached 2.3 million euro from 1.4 million euro a day earlier, boosted by a 298,000 euro block deal with shares of Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB].
