December 22 (SeeNews) - Civil engineering group Energoprojekt Holding [BEL:ENHL] generated the highest turnover among the blue-chip companies on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Thursday, as share indices declined, bourse data showed.
The blue-chip BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, lost 0.23% to 720.53 points. On Wednesday, the index added 0.74% to 722.20.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.11% to 1,575.78, after rising by 0.58% to 1,577.58 on Wednesday.
Household appliances manufacturer Alfa Plam [BEL:ALFA] led the blue-chip gainers on Thursday, rising 1.90% to 34,646 dinars.
Energoprojekt contributed the highest share of total trading turnover among the blue-chip companies, of 3.1 million dinars. The company was also the most traded blue chip, as 2,150 of its shares changed hands.
Lender Komercijalna Banka [BEL:KMBN] paced the blue-chip decliners, retreating 2.13% to 1,701 dinars.
Trading in shares generated 55.6 million dinars ($471,190/449,600 euro) of turnover on Thursday versus 15.5 million dinars on Wednesday. Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 396 million dinars of Thursday's total bourse turnover of 451.6 million dinars.
