January 24 (SeeNews) - Eleven young leaders and entrepreneurs from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and Moldova have been included in the 2018 European edition of the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, the publication showed.
For the first time the list includes leaders from Kosovo - the Open Data Kosovo non-profit organisation, which is striving to make governance data freely available, Forbes said on its website. The Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list features 300 young disruptors across more than 11 categories. This year's edition includes entrants from 34 countries.
Bulgaria had three representatives in two categories - Social Entrepreneurs and Law and Policy. Iva Tsolova, co-founder of online platform JAMBA, and Rositsa Zaimova, founding partner at Dalberg Data Insights, which creates tools for interpreting data and designs solutions for humanitarian aid and social impact, were included in the Social Entrepreneurs category. Lena Borislavova, attorney at law firm Georgiev, Todorov & Co., is on the Law and Policy list of leaders. Borislavova specialises in mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions and negotiations, and international financial law.
Macedonia was represented by two entrepreneurs - Nina Angelovska, co-founder of Grouper.mk, Macedonia's first group deal buying platform, and Zarko Dimitrioski, co-founder of full-service marketing agency Eden na Eden.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's only representative in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list is conflict researcher Jasminko Halilovic, founder of the War Childhood Museum in the country.
Romania and Moldova also had one representative each. These are Florin Badita, the founder of Romanian protest group Corruption Kills, a key force protesting the decriminalization of abuses of the office, and Moldovan member of parliament Mihaela Spataru, who was included in the list due to her work on cyber-security and informational space security issues. She is also a member of the parliamentary working group on changing the constitution to include European Integration in the constitution's text.
