June 12 (SeeNews) - Romanian power supplier and distributor Electrica [BSE:EL] led the decliners among the blue-chips on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Monday, bourse data showed.
The total equity turnover of the BVB rose to 59.1 million lei ($14.5 million/ 12.9 million euro) from 47.1 million lei on Friday.
Electrica was the top blue-chip decliner, falling 3.99% to 13.46 lei in 5.22 million lei turnover.
Blue-chip bank BRD Societe Generale [BSE: BRD] rose 0.30% to 13.34 lei in the day's largest turnover of 10.16 million lei.
Blue-chip lender Banca Transilvania [BSE: TLV] fell 0.36% to 2.7950 lei in the day's second largest turnover of 9.74 million lei.
Romanian gas pipeline operator Transgaz [BSE:TGN] lost 0.62% to 444 lei in the day's third largest turnover of 6.12 million lei.
