March 19 (SeeNews) - Insurer Dunav Osiguranje [BEL:DNOS] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Friday, as stock indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 941 Dunav Osiguranje shares changed hands in a turnover of 3.65 million dinars. Dunav Osiguranje closed up 0.03% at 3,881 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session down 0.32% at 757.93 points.
Aluminium rolling mill Impol Seval [BEL:IMPL] led the blue-chip gainers' list as its share price rose 1.43% to 3,550 dinars.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed down 0.33% at 1,591.41.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 10.6 million dinars ($58,800/49,300 euro) on Friday, down from 29.5 million dinars on Thursday, as 89 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 1.3 million dinars.
In the period between March 15 and 19, BELEX15 grew 1.46% and BELEXline went up 1.24%.
The total value of trading on the Belgrade stock market this week was 328.5 million dinars, versus 264.7 million dinars last week.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 241.8 million dinars to the total turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange this week, up from 145.4 million dinars last week.
