December 1 (SeeNews) - InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) said on Tuesday it has signed its first Crowne Plaza hotel in Novi Sad, Serbia's second largest city.
The 144-room hotel opening in 2016 will be located in the heart of the business district of Novi Sad.
The newly built hotel will operate under a franchise agreement with Plaza AGNS, IHG said in a statement.
The new development, along with Crowne Plaza Belgrade, aligns with IHG’s strategy to grow the brand in emerging business epicentres to truly make business travel work.
Crowne Plaza Novi Sad will feature a range of business and meeting facilities including five meeting rooms and two boardrooms.
Part of the IHG global portfolio, the Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts brand is located in nearly 65 countries around the world in major urban centers, gateway cities and resort destinations.
