June 24 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipping company Uljanik Plovidba [ZSE:ULPL] said on Monday it has signed an agreement for the sale of the oldest tanker in its fleet, the Kastav, as the first step in the company's financial restructuring.
The delivery of the vessel to the buyer should be completed in the following two weeks, the shipping company said in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) without disclosing the price of the deal.
The sale agreement was signed late on Friday. Uljanik Plovidba did not name the buyer.
The Kastav tanker of 52,610 t deadweight was built in 2009. It is used for transport of oil and oil products, oils and chemicals.
