November 14 (SeeNews) - Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik [ZSE:ULJN-R-A] said on Monday it has floated out to sea an auto shipping vessel, 513 Siem Ciceron, for Cayman Islands company Auto Marine Transport Inc.
This is the first in a series of three ships for the transportation of cars and other vehicles which Uljanik will be building for Auto Marine Transport Inc, the company said in a filing with the Zagreb bourse.
The value of the deal was not disclosed.
The 513 Siem Ciceron, 200 m long and 32.26 m wide, has 13 decks for the transportation of 7,000 vehicles.
It has a total capacity of 13,370 tonnes and can reach speeds of 19.8 knots.
