January 2 (SeeNews) - Croatian oil pipeline operator Janaf [ZSE: JNAF] said on Tuesday it has extended a contract for crude oil transportation with Serbian oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] for an additional two years.
NIS has reserved Janaf capacities for transportation of 10 million tonnes of crude oil, plus or minus 10%, until end-December 2026, Janaf said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
The deal sets a new record in terms of volume, the company said in a press release.
Janaf announced in December 2022 that NIS has reserved Janaf capacities for transportation of 6.2 million tonnes of crude oil, plus or minus 10%, for the period from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024.
Majority state-owned Janaf operates terminals for crude oil and oil products located on the Island of Krk, as well as in Sisak, Virje, Slavonski Brod and Zitnjak.
Janaf's shares last traded on December 29 on the Zagreb Stock Exchange when they closed 2.35% lower at 830 euro ($910), bourse data showed.
