May 27 (SeeNews) - Croatian car parts maker AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL] said on Friday it will skip dividend payment this year, after it paid a dividend of 8 kuna ($1.14/1.06 euro) per share last year.
The company's net profit of 16.3 million kuna will be retained, it said in a filing to the Zagreb bourse.
Its shareholders will vote on the proposal on July 14.
Last year, they decided to paid in dividend a total of 33.6 million kuna out of its net profit of 68.6 million kuna for 2021.
Last month, the company said that its consolidated net profit slumped 97.9% on the year in the first quarter of 2022, to 580,000 kuna as production at its factories in Russia was suspended due to the war in Ukraine while the global shortage of semiconductors continued.
Its shares traded at 94.80 kuna, up 0.21% on Friday afternoon on the Zagreb bourse.
