May 11 (SeeNews) - Croatian manufacturer of plastic products for the automotive industry AD Plastik [ZSE:ADPL-R-A] said on Monday its local factories will adapt their capacities to the increasing production at its main client - Slovenia's Revoz.
Revoz, a member of France's Renault, has increased its capacities with manufacturing now taking place in two shifts, AD Plastik said in a statement with the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE).
In mid-April, Revoz said it will resume production on April 28, following a six-week suspension prompted by the coronavirus outbreak, with manufacturing to take place in a single shift during the first week of restarted production.
"Volkswagen has started its business operations at production sites in Germany, and Bentley in the United Kingdom has also continued with production as of today," AD Plastik said, adding that their production will initially take place at reduced capacities, to which the capacities of its own production sites will adapt.
AD Plastik has eight production plants in five countries - three in Croatia, two in Russia, and one each in Hungary, Serbia and Romania, employing some 2,900 workers in total. The Hungarian plant is a supplier for Bentley Motors.
The company's shares traded 0.72% lower at 138 kuna ($20/18 euro) by 14:01 CET on Monday on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
