December 30 (SeeNews) - The main share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) closed a tad higher on Thursday, the last trading day for this year, as gains in Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL], Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB] and Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] offset losses in Adris [ZSE:ADRS] and Podravka [ZSE:PODR], bourse data showed.
The ZSE's blue-chip 21-share benchmark CROBEX index ended 2021 at 2.079,35 points, up 0.15%. The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.06% to 1.262.31 points.
Preferred shares of diversified holding Adris were the most liquid stock on Thursday, generating a turnover of 1.2 million kuna ($181,000/160,000 euro). They fell 0.72% to end at 415 kuna.
Shipping company Atlantska Plovidba's share price rose 0.54% to 372 kuna in a turnover of 648,000 kuna. Food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka's shares dipped 0.23% to 632 kuna in a turnover of 615,000 kuna.
Shares of electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar surged 2.27% to end at 900 kuna in a turnover of 334,000 kuna.
ZSE's total turnover rose to 6.3 million kuna from 5.8 million kuna on Wednesday.
The ZSE will be closed for trading on Friday for New Year's Eve. Trading will resume on Monday, January 3, 2022.
