May 16 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended lower on Monday, after a brief recovery on Friday, as turnover kept falling, bourse data showed.
The 23-share blue-chip index, the CROBEX, dipped 0.22% to finish at 2,077.86 points.
The narrower CROBEX10 which tracks the top ten companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, lost 0.25% to end at 1,238.10 points.
Lender Hrvatska Postanska Banka [ZSE:HPB] was the most traded share on Monday with a turnover of 1.1 million kuna ($152,000/146,000 euro). Its shares finished 0.55% lower at 910 kuna.
No other share generated a turnover above the one million kuna mark.
Blue-chip shipping company Atlantska Plovidba [ZSE:ATPL] was the second most traded share, with a turnover of 957,000 kuna. Its price dropped 2.66% to 512 kuna.
In lower turnovers, shares of software producer SPAN [ZSE:SPAN] fell 1.67% and shares of index heavyweight Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] went down 0.56%.
Civil engineering company Institut IGH [ZSE:VLEN] was the biggest daily gainer with an increase of its share price of 27.91% to 110 kuna as 1,967 shares changed hands in lack of news from the company. It is not part of the two main equity indices.
The ZSE's total trading turnover dropped to 6.0 million kuna from some 7 million kuna on Friday.
