January 30 (SeeNews) - The total net assets of Croatian pension funds reached 140.1 billion kuna ($20.1 billion/18.6 billion euro) at the end of December, down 0.5% year-on-year, data by the country's financial regulator, Hanfa, showed.
On a monthly comparison base, the net assets of Croatian pension funds were 0.4% lower at the end of December, according to figures released by Hanfa last week.
The Adriatic country of some 3.89 million people had 2.179 million members of its 12 mandatory pension funds in December, as well as 374,702 members of its eight open-end voluntary pension funds and 47,718 members of its 21 closed-end voluntary pension funds.
