- Croatian company Adris Grupa has united its business related to fish farming and processing in a new company called Cromaris by merging the companies Cenmar, Marikultura and Bisage-Nit.

- The number of employees in the Croatian processing industry fell in August by 10.8% on the year, employees in mining industry declined 12.3%, while the number of employees involved in the supply of electricity, gas and steam went up 0.4%.
- Suppliers and subcontractors have blocked the bank accounts of Croatia's Ingra Gradnja, an affiliate of local blue-chip civil engineering company Ingra that did most of the job on building the Zagreb Arena sports hall, for failure to fully settle its liabilities to them for 10 months after the completion of construction works.
