- Croatia will postpone the second tender for the sale of six state-owned shipyards from January 6 to early February, Economy Ministry spokesman Tomislav Mazal said.
- On Monday in Brussels, Croatia closed another two chapters in its accession negotiations with the European Union, bringing to 17 the number of chapters closed so far. At the Intergovernmental Accession Conference, Croatia closed the negotiations on Right of Establishment & Freedom to provide Services, and Social Policy and Employment.
