April 14 (SeeNews) - Montenegro has confirmed five new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country since Monday morning, bringing the total number of registered infected people to 278, the country's health institute said on Tuesday.
One new coronavirus case was confirmed on the evening of April 13 and four more were reported on Tuesday, the health institute, a unit with the health ministry, said in an update on the epidemiological situation in the country.
Montenegro confirmed the first two COVID-19 cases on its territory on March 17. On March 22, the first death caused by the coronavirus disease was reported in the country.
