April 8 (SeeNews) - The number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Bosnia rose to 803 after the Serb Republic's health ministry said on Wednesday the number of patients in the entity who have tested positive for the disease grew to 348.
At the same time, Bosnia's other entity - the Federation - said official coronavirus information portal numbered 440 confirmed COVID-19 cases on its territory by 1350 CET on Wednesday.
Moreover, the Brcko District reported the first death related to COVID-19 on its territory, while confirmed cases in the self-governing administrative unit in northeastern Bosnia numbered 15 on Wednesday.
The Federation has registered 21 deaths related to the coronavirus so far, while 12 people have died in the Serb Republic from the disease.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is made up of two autonomous entities - the Federation and the Serb Republic.
